The Football Association (FA) has announced that temporary dismissals – more commonly known as ‘sin bins’ – will be implemented at the grassroots level of the game from the 2019/20 season onward.
From 2019/20, temporary dismissals will become a permanent feature of the grassroots landscape for all leagues at Step 5 and below in the men’s game as well as Tier 5 and below of the women’s pyramid and all youth leagues.
Devon Football Association will be hosting 4 presentations around Devon in order to provide clubs with a better understanding of the new rule. Information on SIN BIN’s will be circulated to all clubs, prior to the 2019/20 season and will also have access to an online video presentation produced by the FA - so please do not panic if you are unable to make one of the below dates, as all information will be available via online resources.
Each team will be permitted to have a maximum of two members that can attend a presentation and will be on a first come first serve basis.
Each of the below presentation nights will have two separate time slots for clubs to book onto – one at 6:00pm & one at 7:30pm. Clubs will have until Wednesday 22nd May at 5pm to book onto one of the four presentations.
